RESOLUTION N0, X, 1�
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2821 of the City Oounoil of
the City of Newport Beaoh was duly and regularly passed and
adopted, fixing the salaries of all appointive officials and
employees of the pity of Newport Beach; and
WHEREAS, Harry Laos, police officer of the city of
Newport Beach, has been given additional police duties and is
therefore entitled to additional Compensation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Newport Beach
desires that the Salary resolution of said city, to —wit,
Resolution No. 2821, be amended so as to provide for such
additional compensation to the said Harry Laos.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Resolution
No. 2821 of the city of Newport Beach be, and the same is hereby
amended so as to provide that the said Harry Laos shall receive
the sum of 0165.00 per month, commencing as of October let, 1943,
and that said salary be paid at the same time and in the same
manner as other city salaries of the city of Newport Beaoh are
paid.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Counoil of
the city of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on
the 4th day of October, 1943, by the following vote, to —wit:
