Planning Association of California, Ino., dated January 12, 1951#
asking for the support by this City of the following proposed
legislations
(1) An ast to provide for the preparation of a state
Master plan of development and iaprovement of beaohss, aquatic
park*# small boat harbors and marinas;
(2) An sot to attend Chapter 1422 -- Statute4 of 1945 SO
permit the expenditure of previously allocated funds for the
aoquitftioa of land and water areas for use,as sarinas and small
boat harbors;
(3) An mot to amend Chapter 1422 -- statues of 1945 by
modifying the rsgeat that state expenditures under the said
act be matched by like amounts in money, property or lends re.
delved from private or other sources; and
AEAB, it appears to be for the best interests of the'
citizens of the City of Newport Beach that said proposed legis-
lation be passed by a Legislature of the State of California;

of the City of Newport Beach hereby expresses its approval of
said proposed legislation and hereby further respectfully miss
the adoption of the above mentioned Legislation.
