RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AWARDIW A CONTRACT FOR THE 14ST'AU ATION OP CWW CURBS
ALONG BALBOA BOULEVARD BETWEEN SIXTH AND NINTH STRUTS
AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION Of AN AGREEMENT THIMEFOR
WHEREAS, pursuant to a Notice Inviting Bids for the
installation of ourbinge on Balboa Boulevard from Birth to Ninth
streets in the City or Newport Beach, heretofore day givesv
sealed proposale and bids therefor were duly ricsiv" ands at
the ties and place set for said purposes duly opened. and it
spearing that the lowest replar and responsible bidder is

WOREAS, there has been duly Presented to the City
Council or the C1ts or Newport So&eh a osrUin Agreement dated
Januaay 22, 1951 by and between said Walter J. Marta 4" the
City of Newport Beach, Providing for the installation or ourbiug
an Balboa Boulevard from Sixth to Ninth. Streets;
Xis TBEREFORN, BE IT RESOLVED& That said Hid of said
WmjW J: Naakel for said installation of said 60*2 from 8121h
to Meth Strests, in the City of Newport Beach, for the total
sum of $2,$30.05 bss and the same is herebrs aaoeptedf and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said.Agrement for said
construction in a000rdams, with the plena and apsafications oa
rile with the City Clerk or the City of Newport Beach at said
price or $2,230.05 be, and the same to hereby, awarded to said
Walter J. Naftel= and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
bas and they are hereby, eatharlsed and inetruotdd to ezeoutt
said Agreement in the name of and for and on behalf or the City
of Newport Reacho and that the City Clerk furnish a duly executed
poppy thereat to said Walter J. Markel.
