RESOLUTION NO. 4247
WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach an agreement dated the 12th
day of July, 1954, by and between the State of California and
the City of Newport Beach relating to the excavation and removal
of subbase material from certain lands owned by the City of
Newport.Beach, and
WHEREAS, said agreement has been duly presented by the City
Attorney to the City of Newport Beach for acceptance and approval
by the City Council of said City, and
WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interests of the
citizens of the City of Newport Beach that said agreement be
entered into between said State of California and said City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk
of the City of Newport Beach be and_ they are hereby directed and
authorized to execute on behalf of the City of Newport Beach said
agreement dated July 12th, 1954, a copy of which agreement is
attached hereto and made a part hereof.
The above and foregoing Resolution No. 4247 was duly and
regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 12th day of
July, 1954, by the following roll call vote, to wit:
