RESOLUTION NO. 4573
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING ASSESSMENT IN THE MATTER OF
THE IMPROVEMENT OF 31ST STREET AND OTHER STREETS
AND RIGHTS OF WAY, IN THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH,
CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the
City of Newport Beach, California, an assessment to represent the
costs and expenses of the work and improvement done pursuant to
proceedings had and taken under Resolution of Intention No. 4421,
adopted by the City Council on the 27th day of December, 1955,
and under resolution ordering changes and modifications, being
Resolution No. 4563, adopted by said City Council on the 26th
day of November, 1956; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has duly given notice in the manner
provided by law of the filing of said assessment and of the time
set for hearing; and
WHEREAS, a hearing was duly and regularly held on the 13th
day of November, 1956 and continued to the meeting of said City
Council held November 26, 1956; and
WHEREAS, said City Council did order certain changes and
modifications in said assessment; and
WHEREAS, said changes and modifications have now been made
and the City Council is now satisfied as to the proper completi
of the work and of the spreading of the assessment,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, CALIFORNIA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the said assessment and diagram as modi-
fied, and the proceedings leading up to the same, and all acts
determinations of all officers of the City of Newport Beach in
relation to the work done and to the said assessment and the di
attached thereto, as modified, be and the same hereby are ratif
and confirmed, and the Superintendent of Streets is hereby orde
and directed to attach to said assessmentawarrant in the manner
and form provided by law, said warrant bearing date of this

Resolution, and is further ordered to deliver said warmtq
diagram, and assessment to the contractor, or its assignee,
as the case may bey forthwith upon payment of the incidental
expenses due thereon.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 26th day of November, 1956.
