RESOLUTION 14O. 4/ -s• �S
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach a certain Contract between the Helipot
Corporation and the City of Newport Beach for the furnishing of a
crater supply for said Helipot Corporation's fire fighting equipment
and,
uAB, the City Council has heretofore considered the
terms and conditions of said contract and that said terms and con-
ditions are reasonable and equitable,
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute
said Contract in the name of and for and on behalf of the City of
Newport Beach.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
,sod and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport 'Beach
a regular meeting thereof held on the i day of November,
1956, by the following roll call vote, to -wits

CONTRACT
THIS CONTRACT, made and entered into this .7`-14 day
Of _ 1n gn, _ _ , 1955, by and between the CITE' OF NBW80iiT
BFACS, a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as "City"
and the HELIPOT CORPORATION, a corporation, hereinafter referred
to as "Helipot";
W I T N E S S E T H;
tlMMM, Helipot has requested from City a water supply
be used only for Helipot's fire fighting equipment for use in the
event of an emergency and Helipot is willing to pay City the
approximate sum of $1,500.00 as provided for in a separate agreeen
to purchase city water executed this date to connect to City's
water main for the aforesaid purpose; eind
WHMASs the consideration is fair and adequate;
NOM, THMWORH, in consideration of their mutual
and In emaideration of Helipot's paying to the City the approxi-
mate sum or $1,500.00 as provided in said separate agreement for 1
right to connect to the City's water main for a water supply for
Its fire fighting equipment, the parties hereto agree as followat
1. That City will furnish a water supply to Helipot for
Its fire fighting equipmeat to be used at its plant located on
property adjacent to the City of Newport Beach. County of Orange,
state of California.
2. That Helipot will have the right to connect to
existing water main for the aforesaid purpose, said connection
to be made by City at Helipot's sole expense.
3. That in consideration of City's furnishing Helipot
said water supply and allowing Helipot to connect to City's water
main for the aforesaid purpose, Helipot will pay City the approxi
mate an Of $14,500.00 as so provided for in said separate agree -
meat upon the execution of this agreement.
