RESOLUTION No. 4470
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach has
received as offer from the Pacific Electric Railway Company to sell
certain real property a-s hereinafter described to the City of Now-
port Beach for the sum of $111,750.000, and,
WHEREAS, s&14 purchase price represents a fair and
equitable price for the worth of said property; and,
WHMMA3, said purchase would be for the best interests of
the aitisons of Newport Beach=
NON, TMMMOREj BE lT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach that the City of Newport Beach is hereby
authorised to purchaae that certain real property in the City Of
Newport Beach from the Pacific Electrla Railway Company for the sum
Of $i11,T50.00, said ,property is more specifically desoribed as
follows$
Iota 11, 12 and 13 in Block 115, Tract 234 as reoorded
In Book 13, page 36, of Miscellaneous Napa, Records of
orange County California; Lots 1 to 13 Inclusive In Block
116, Tract 234 am recorded in ]gook 13, page 36 of Miseel-
lanecus laps, Records of orange County, California, and
Lots 1 and 2 in Block 1170 Section B as recorded In Book
4, page 47 of miscellaneous Haps, Records of Orange County,
California.
3tse above and foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
passed and adopted at a meeting of the City Council of the city Of
Newport Beach held on the 26th day of Marah, 1956, by the following
vote, to -wits
