MCLAMI0 RESULT OF EUCTION
WHERM.. a general municipal election was held and
conducted in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, state
of California, on Tuesday, the 10th day of April, 1956, as required)
by law; and
WI3MAS, it appears that notice os said election was
duly and regularly given; that voting precincts were properly
established; that election officers were appointed and election
supplies furnished and that in all respects said election irad
held and conducted and the votes cast thereat received and can-
vassed and the returns thereof Made and declared in time, force
and manner as required by the laws of the State o California; and
WMREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
met at the Council Chambers of the City Council on Tuesday, the
17th day of April, 1956, at the hour of o 'clods p m. of
said day, to canvass the returns of said election, as a result of
which the City Council of said City Vinds and determines that the
number votes east and other matters required by law to be as here-
inafter stated;
NOW, TiiE WORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that said general
municipal election was held and conducted in the City of Ne'Aport
Beach on Tuesday, the 10th day of April, 1956, in time, form and
manner as required by law; that there were eighteen (19) voting
precincts established for the purpose of holding said election,
consisting of either regular election precincts established for
holding state or county elections or a consolidation of some or
all of all of such preincts as follows.
