RESOLUTION NO. 4487
Awarding Contract
WHEREAS, pursuant to Notice Inviting Bids for the con-
struction of a comfort station at Corona del Mar State Beach,
heretofore duly given, sealed proposals and bids therefor were dul
received and, at the time and place set for said purpose, duly
opened, and it appearing that the lowest and regular and responsit
bidder is R. L. Steinmetz; and
WHEREAS, there has been duly presented to the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach a certain Agreement dated April 27,
19561 by and between said R. L.. Steinmetz and the City of Newport
Beach providing for said improvements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that said bid of said R. L.
Steinmetz for said construction of a comfort station for the total
sum of $11,533.00 be and the same is hereby accepted; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said contract for said con-
struction in accordance with the plans and specification on file
with the City Clerk of said City at said price of $11,533.00 be,
and the same is hereby, awarded to said R. L. Steinmetz; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are hereby, authorized and instructed to execute said
Agreement in the name of andfor and on behalf of the City of New-
port Beach and that the City Clerk furnish a duly executed copy
thereof to said R. L. Steinmetz.
The above and foregoing Resolution #4487 was duly and
regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 27th day
of April, 1956, by the following roll
