COMPMMATION PLAN BY CREATING CERTAIN W
CLASSIFICATIONS, AND ESTABLISHING CLASS ORADE9
VOWOit, AND BY ADJUSTINO CLAW GRADES FOR
CERTAIN EXIST M0 CLASSIFICATIONS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
has heretofore considered the establishment of certain new
classifications, the compensation therefor and the adjustment of
compensation for certain existing classifications in the city
service of the Clftrgof Newport Beach;
NOWt TH8WORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that certain new classifications,
with their respective class grades, are hereby created and be*
a part of said oityte classification and compensation plan for
city employees, as follows, to wits
1. A new class known as Fire Englnsear, Class Oracle 13*
certain existing classifications with$ft said city's classifl-
cation plan is hereby established as followe, to wit-
1. Class Grade 10 is hereby established for the
classification of Life Ousrd, full -tim.
The above and foaregoing • solution was duly and
regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City
of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 25th
day of June, 1956, by the following roll call vote, to nits
