WHBRW . Edward T. Healy was appointed by the
Council of the City of Newport Beach on September 8th. 19520
as a srtmber of the Civil Service Commission; and
WMEAS, Edward T. Healy, has served as Chairman
of the Civil Service Board for the past two and one -half
years; and
USUM9 Mr. Healy has unselfishly denoted time
and effort to aid the City and the Civil Service personnel;
WHEiMSAS, Mr. Healy has submitted his resignation
flan said Civil Service Board.

City C =cil of the City of !Newport Beach aceepts the
resignation of Mr. Edward T. Healy and does hereby sincerely,
on its own behalf and on behalf of the residents of the City
of Report Beach, express its appreciation to Mr. Healy for
his untiring and loyal service to the City of !Newport Beach.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly passed and adopted by the City of Newport Beach
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 10th day of June.
