the City of Newport Beach appointed John C. Penney as Acting
City Attorney to serve in this capacity on a tenporaty basis
until the City Council appoints a City Attorneyl and
WHEREAS, the City Council is now desirous of making a
appointment to this officel

the 01ty or Newport Beach that Water W. Chazwea bes end he is
hereby, appointed as City Attorney of the City of Newport Beach
an a full time basis at a salary of $1,050,00 per month, said
appointment to be effective on November 16, 19571 and
iMiTMM RESOLVED, that Resolution No. 4692 be, and the
same is hereby rescindedr effective on November 18, 1957.
