2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
3 CONSTRUCTION OF A LIBRARY BUILDING AT 420
4 MARIGOLD AVENUE, CORONA DEL MAR
5 WHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
6 consisting of the construction *f a library building at 420
7 Marigold Avenue, Corona Del Mar,in accordance with the plans and
8 specifications heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 5th
9 day of March, 1959, and publicly opened and declared; and
10 WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
11 for such construction work is 0. Z. Robertson Construction Co.;
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of 0. Z.
13 Robertson Construction Co, in the amount of $22,975.00 be accepted
14 and that the contract for the construction work be awarded to said
15 1 0. Z. Robertson Construction Co.
16 I BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
17 hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
18 with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
19 of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish an
20 executed copy to the successful bidder.
21l This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
22 City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 23d day of March,
23 19590 by the following vote, to wit:

Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the records
of the City of Newport Beach filed and maintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 4945 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 23d day of March f 1959, by the following
vote, to wit:
