A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE E`MCUTION OF A
CONTRACT FOR THE ERECTION AND MAINTENANCE OF
GEOGRAPHICAL SIGNS IN THE NE1TPORT HARBOR AREA
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach a certain contract by and between the
City of Costa Mesa, City of Newport Beach, Costa Mesa Chamber of
Commerce, Newport Harbor Chamber of Commerce and Corona Del Mar
Chamber of Commerce, for the erection and maintenance of five
geographical signs to be located in the Newport Harbor area showing
the location of the various sections of the harbor area; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore considered the
terms and conditions of said contract and said terms and conditions
are reasonable and equitable;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said contract
on behalf of the City of Newport Beach,
This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach at an adjourned regular meeting on the 6th
day of April, 1959, by the following vote, to wit:.
