RESOLUTION NO. 5004
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
RESURFACING OF CERTAIN STREETS IN CORONA DEL
MAR DISTRICT AND ON SEASHORE DRIVE FROM 36TH
STREET TO 61ST STREET
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
consisting of the resurfacing of certain streets in the Corona Del
Mar district and on Seashore Drive from 36th Street to 61st Street,,
in accordance with the plans and specifications heretofore adopted„
bids were received on the 7th day of May, 1959, and publicly opened
and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
for such construction work is Sully- Miller Contracting Co.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of Sully -
Miller Contracting Co, in the amount of $6,940.00 be accepted and
that the contract for the construction work be awarded to said
Sully - Miller Contracting Co.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
an executed copy to the successful bidder.
This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 11th day of May,
1959, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Hart, Lorenz, Somers,
Kingsley, Atkinson, Higbie, Stoddard
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT COUNCILMEN: None

of the City of Newport Beach filed and inaintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No, 5004 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 11th day of May , 1959, by the following
