RESOLUTION NO, 5054
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A
3 CONTRACT WITH THE COUNTY OF ORANGE TO PERFORM
SOIL TESTS FOR.THE CITY

5 1- MER.EAS, the City of Newport Beach is in need of assist -
6 ance in the conduct of soil tests to determine pavement design;
7 and
8 WHEREAS, the County of Orange has the facilities for and
9 is willing to provide such assistance; and
10 WHEREAS, an agreement between the County of Orange and
11 the City of Newport Beach has been prepared and reviewed by the
12 City Council and found to be fair and equitable;
13
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
14
Clerk be, and
they are hereby, authorized and directed to
execute
15
said contract
in the name of and for and on behalf of the
City of
16
Newport Beach,

resolution was adopted by the City Council
of the
181 City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 13th day of July,

regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
