• 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH. AUTHORIZING THE E:MCUTION OF
• 3 AN AGREEI4ENT WITH THE NEWPORT HARBOR LAWN
BOWLING ASSOCIATION

5 WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach and the Newport :Harbor
6 Lawn Bowling Association entered into an agreement dated October 14
7 1958, for the maintenance of the lawn bowling green at 15th Street
8 and Balboa Boulevard, and an amendment thereto dated June 8, 1959,
n 9 which agreement expired June 30, 1959; and
10 14HEREAS, a new agreement has been presented to the City
1111 Council providing for the maintenance of said green from July 1,
12 1 1959, through June 30, 1960, under substantially the same terms
13 and conditions as the previous agreement; and
14 WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the terms of said
15 II agreement and found them to be fair and equitable and in the best
16 II interests of the City;
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
18 City of Newport Beach that said agreement be approved, and the Mayoi
19 and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
20 same on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
21 This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
22 City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 13th day of July,
23 1959, by the following vote, to wit:

Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the records
of the City of Newport Beach filed and waintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 5059 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 13th day of July , 1959, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Kingsley, Atkinson, Stoddard, Hart,
Lorenz, Somers
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: Higbie
