A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A DEED
WHEREAS, The Irvine Company, a West Virginia corporation,
has executed a deed dated April 1, 1958, granting and conveying to
the City of Newport Beach the existing pump station and sewer force
main situated in, under and along a strip of land situated within
Lot 8 of Tract No. 3232 in the City of Newport Beach, County of
Orange, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 99' pages
49 and 50, of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the County
Recorder of said County, together with an easement to replace,
repair, maintain and operate the same for the transportation and
disposal of sewage, and the right of access thereto over and along
said easement for said purposes, said strip of land being more
particularly described as follows:

Commencing at a point in the center line of Bayside
Drive as said center line is described in the deed
of right of way of Bayside Drive recorded in Book
830, page 217 of Official Records, Orange County,
California; said point being the beginning of a
tangent line which bears South 40° 05' 30" East;
thence along said tangent line a distance.of
649.80 feet to the beginning of a curve concave
southwesterly and having a radius of 1000 feet;
thence from the beginning of said curve along a
line which bears South 100 00' 22" East a distance
of 41.54 feet to the true point of beginning, said
true point of beginning being also the center of a
manhole on the Bayside Drive trunk sewer; thence
North 270 57' 44" West 5.00 feet; thence South
620 02' 16" West.192.00 feet; thence North 300 00'
00" West 3.50 feet; thence South 600 00' 00" West
16.00 feet; thence South 30° 00' 00" East 14.00 feet;
thence North 60° 00' 00" East 15.60 feet; thence
North 300 00' 00" West .44 feet; thence North 620 02'
16" East 192.00 feet; thence North 27 °. 57' 44" West
5.00 feet to the true point of beginning.
RESERVING unto the grantor, its successors and
assigns the right to connect with and to use said sewer
force main and appurtenant facilities for the disposal of
sewage from adjacent lands;
WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept said
'deed for such purposes;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that said deed be accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is authorized
and directed to execute and attach a certificate of acceptance and
consent to the recording of said deed in the County Recorderts
office.
This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the j0 6` day of
August, 1959, by the following vote, to wit:

the foregoing Resolution No. 5070 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 10th day of August ! �9 59 by the following
vote, to wit:
