. 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TITS CITY OF
1104PORT BEACH AUTHORIZING TIE MCUTION OF A
3 QUITCLAIM DEED

5 IMdE1 S, records in the County Recorder's office
6 indicate that the Tax Collector of the City of Newport Beach on
7 February 28, 1936, executed a deed to the City of Newport Beach
8 conveying Lots 1 and 28, Block 2, of Tract No. 772 in the City,
9 as per snap recorded in Book 23, pages 5 and 6, of Miscellaneous
10 Maps in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County; and
11 ti+% REAS, it appears that the deed was executed in error
12
or that the
delinquency
has subsequently been paid and the
13
encumbrance
not removed;
and
14 TNMREAS, it appears that the City does not now have any
15 interest in said lots and it would be proper to execute a quit
16 claim deed releasing the apparent interest;
17 WCW TXEWZORw, BE IT RF,SOLVED by the City Council of
18 the City of Newport Beach that the Mayor and City Clerk are
19 hereby authorized and directed to execute a quitclaim deed
20 releasing the City's apparent interest in said lots to the owner
21 or owners of record.
22 This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
23 City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 26th day of
24 September, 1959, by the following vote, to wit:

I, MARGERY SCHROUDER, City Clerk of the City of Newport
Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the records
of the City of Newport Beach filed and :maintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 5096 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 28th day of September $ 1959, by the following
vote, to wits
AYES, COUNCILMENS Kingsley, Atkinson, Higbie, Stoddard,
Hart, Lorenz, Somers
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: None
