WYI1:R.i S, there have been executed and delivered to the
City of Newport beach a quitclaim deed dated March 3, 1960, from
The Irvine Company, and a quitclaim deed dated March 3, 1960, from
Sunny - Bones, inc., i7acco Corporation, Ward Development Co., Har-
rington Development Co., and Hester (Development Co., quitclaiming
to the City certain real property in the City of Newport Beach,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
A strip of land, one foot wide over the southwesterly
one foot of Lots 1 to 13 inclusive, and Lots 113 to
130 inclusive, of Tract No. 3519, as shown on a map
recorded in Book 128, Pages 18 - 21, of Miscellaneous
(Maps, records of Orange County, California, the
southwesterly line of said one foot strip also being
the northeasterly line of Pacific Coast highway, 100
feet wide, as shown on said tract map;
said deed from The Irvine Company being subject tot
and
1. That certain Lease by and between The Irvine
Company as lessor and Sunny Homes, Inc., as lessee,
dated April 1, 1958, and
2. The condition subsequent that upon the relocation
or abandonment of Pacific Coast Highway, the title to
such property shall vest in the grantor or its succes-
sors and assigns;
IiIMREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept
said quitclaim deeds;
1VOJ2 TY3EREFORL2 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that said quitclaim deeds-be accepted
and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to execute and
a certificate of acceptance and consent to the recording of said
quitclaim deeds in the County Recorderts office.
