RESOLUTION NO. 5219
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MTPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF UNDERGROUND ELECTRICAL AND
TELEPHONE SYSTEM AT CORONA DEL MAR STATE: AND
CITY BEACH PARK, PUBLIC SERVICE AREA NO. 1
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
consisting of the construction of underground electrical and
telephone system at Corona del Mar State and City Beach Park,
Public Service Area No. 1, in accordance with the plans and speci-
fications heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 8th day of
April, 1960, and publicly opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
for such construction work is Alex Robertson Co.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of Alex
Robertson Co. in the amount of $5,518 be accepted and that the
contract for the construction work be awarded to said Alex Robert-
son Co.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
an executed copy to the successful bidder.

Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the records
of the City of Newport Beach filed and maintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 5219 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 11th day of April 19 60 , by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Kingsley, Atkinson, Higbie, Stoddard_
Hart, Lorenz, Somers
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: None
