A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A
RECREATION AGREEMENT WITH THE NEWPORT HARBOR
UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT..
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach a recreation agreement between the Newpor,
Harbor Union High School District and the City of Newport Beach
providing for a program of supervised recreation to be conducted by
the City on School District facilities when not otherwise needed
for educational purposes, the costs of which are to be jointly
shared, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the terms and
conditions of said agreement and said terms and conditions are
reasonable and equitable;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement
on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
ADOPTED this 23rd day of May, 1960.

the foregoing Resolution No. 5243 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 23d day of May 1960 by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Kingsley, Atkinson, Cook, Stoddard,
Hart, Lorenz, Somers
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
