2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING TILE EXECUTION OF AN
3 ARTERIAL HIGHWAY. FINANCING AGREEMENT WITH THE
COUNTY OF ORANGE FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF DOVER
4 DRIVE

6 WHEREAS, the City Council by Resolution No. 5133 requeste
7 the County of orange to allocate $32,625 to aid the City of Newport
8 Beach during fiscal year 1960 -61 in the improvement of Dover Drive
9 from a point approximately 800 feet southerly of Westcliff Drive to
10 the Pacific Coast Highway; and
11 WHEREAS, by said resolution the City agreed that its
12 1 share of the cost of improvements and rights of way would be avail-
13I able for the fiscal year 1960 -61; and
14 WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of
15 the City of Newport Beach a certain Arterial Highway Financing
16 Agreement between the City of Newport Beach and the County of Orang
17 for such improvement worts, which said agreement has been reviewed
18 and found to be fair and equitable and it is in the interest of
19 the City to execute the same;
20 NOW, THEREFORE,, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
21 the City of Newport Beach that said agreement be approved and that
22 the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute
23 the same on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
24 ADOPTED this 27th day of June, 1960.

the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 27th day of June 19 60 by the following
vote, to wit:
