1 RESOLUTION N0. 5283
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE ERECUTION
3 OF A CONTRACT WITH ORANGE.COUNTY TO FURNISH
LIFEGUARD SERVICE.

5 WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of
6 the City of Newport Beach a certain agreement under which the City
7 is to furnish lifeguard service.to Harry Welch Park for the period
8 from July 1, 1960, through June 30, 1961, and be reimbursed for
9 the cost of doing so by the County of Orange; and
10 WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the terms and
it l conditions of said agreement and found them to be fair and
12 I equitable;
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
14 Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
15 agreement on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
