1 RESOLUTION N0. 5297
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH DESIGNATING A HOLIDAY

4 WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 5289
5 establishing personnel policies for City employees; and
6 WHEREAS, in Section VI C of said Resolution No. 5289
7 certain days were designated as holidays; and
8 WHEREAS, September 9 (Admission Day) was inadvertently
9 omitted from the list of holidays;
10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, subject to the same
11 terms and conditions set forth in Section VI of Resolution No.
12 5289, September 9 (Admission Day) shall be and is hereby desig-
13 nated a holiday,
14 ADOPTED this 8th day of August, 1960.

regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 8th day of August 19 60 by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Kingsley, Atkinson, Cook, Stoddard,
Hart, Lorenz, Somers
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: None
