A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH.AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF MARGARET DRIVE STREET .IMPROVE-
MENTS FROM APPROXIMATELY 800 FEET WESTERLY OF
IRVINE AVENUE TO APPROXIMATELY 250 FEET WESTERLY
THEREOF
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
consisting of the construction of Margaret
meats from approximately 800 feet westerly
approximately 250 feet westerly thereof in
Beach, in accordance with the plans and sp
adopted, bids were received on the 4th day
publicly opened and declared} and

the City of Newport

of August, 1960, and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
for such construction work is R. J. Noble Company
. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of
R. J. Noble Company in the amount of
$3,608.37 be accepted and that the contract for the con-
struction work be awarded to said bidder.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
an executed copy to the successful bidder.
