A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF.AN .
AGREEMENT FOR MAINTENANCE OF THE STATE HIGHWAYS
IN THE CITY
WHEREAS, the State of California, through its Departments
of Public Works, Division of Highways, has presented -to the City
of Newport Beach an agreement for maintenance of the state high-
ways in the City, effective as of July 1, 1960, and to remain in
effect until amended or terminated; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the terms and
conditions of said agreement and found them to be reasonable and
equitable and in the interests of the City;
NOW3THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said agreement be
approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of Newport
Beach.
ADOPTED at an adjourned regular meeting this 31st day
of October, 1960.
