RESOLUTION-No. S3 a A
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH LIMITING.THE PARKING OF VEHICLES
ON CERTAIN STREETS—
WHEREAS, Section 3289 of the Newport Beach Municipal
Code provides that when authorized signs are in place giving
thereof, no person shall stop, stand, or park any vehicle between
the hours of 8 :00 a. m. and 6.00 p. m. of any day for a period of
time longer than two (2) hours upon such streets or portions
of as the City Council shall designate by resolution; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to limit the parking of vehic
as hereinafter provided;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT. RESOLVED that parking of vehicles
between the hours of 8:00 a. m..and 6 :00 p. m. of any day be
limited to two (2) hours upon the following streets or portions
thereof:
1. West side of Agate Avenue between Park Avenue
and South Bay Front.
2. The east and west sides of Clubhouse Avenue
between the Rivo Alto and the Channel.
3. The east side of Riverside Avenue from Avon
Street 65 feet northerly.
4. The north side of Avon Street from the west
side of Tustin Avenue 120 feet westerly.
5. The north side of Avon Street from 160 feet
west of Tustin Avenue to Riverside Avenue.
6. The east side of Tustin Avenue from 92 feet
northerly of Coast Highway to the extension
of the south side of Avon Street,
7. The north side and south side of Margaret
Drive from Irvine Avenue westerly 630 feet.
8. The north side and south side of Holly Lane
from Irvine Avenue westerly 630 feet.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is author-
ized and directed to cause signs to be posted on such streets

ADOPTED at an adjourned regular meeting this 31st day
of October, 1960.
