RESOLUTION NO. 5335
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF FIRE STATION NO. 1 AND LIBRARY
ADDITION..
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
consisting of the construction of Fire Station No. 1 and Library
Addition in the City of Newport Beach, in accordance with the
plans and specifications heretofore adopted, bids were received on
the 23rd day of November, 1960, and publicly opened and declared;
and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
for such construction work is William J. Burke;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of William J.
Burke in the amount of $64,990 be accepted and that the contract
the construction work be awarded to said bidder.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
an executed copy to the successful bidder.

the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
