2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A DEED OF RIGHT

5 WHEREAS, The Irvine Company, a West Virginia corporation)
6 owner, and Richard V. Jordan, lessee, have executed a deed of.
7 right of way dated November 25, 1960, granting to the City of
8 Newport Beach an easement for public road purposes over the real
9 property in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of
10 California, described as follows„
11 A portion of Lot 3 as shown upon a map of Tract No. 1125,
recorded in Miscellaneous Maps Book 39, Pages 7 and 8,.Recordi
12 of Orange County, California, and more particularly described
as follows:

Beginning at the intersection of a line lying Southwesterl:
14 of, Parallel with and distant 330.00 feet from the South-
westerly line of Westcliff Drive (Formerly 17th Street)
15 80.00 feet in width as shown upon said map of Tract No.
1125 and the Southeasterly line of Irvine Avenue 60.00
16 feet in width as shown upon said map; thence South 500
10' 30" East along said parallel line a distance of 414.95
17 - feet; .thence North 39° 49' 30" East a distance of 30.00
feet; thence North 500 10' 30" hest a distance of 373.95
18 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave to the
East and having a radius of 15.00 feet; thence Northerly
19 along said curve through a central angle of 090 59' 25"
an arc distance of 23.55 feet; thence Northeasterly on a
20 tangent curve, concave to the Southeast having a radius of
222.12 feet an arc distance of 70.67 feet to a point in a
21 curve a radial line through said point .bears North 310
57' 56" West, said point lying in the Southeasterly line
22 of that certain parcel of land described in deed of right -
of-way conveyed to the City of Newport Beach and recorded
23 in Book 4698, Page 284, Official Records of said Orange
County; thence.Southwesterly along said Southeasterly
24 line along a curve, concave to the Northeast having a
radius of 256.55 feet an arc distance of 29.05 feet; thence
25 South 64° 31' 22" West a distance of 33.62 feet to the
beginning of a tangent curve, concave to the Southeast
261 having a.radius of 136.11 feet; thence Southwesterly aloe;
said curve an arc distance of 58.69 feet to the point of
2711 beginning.
28 Reserving unto the Grantors, their successors and assigns,
the right to construct, maintain and operate lines of any and
• 29 all kinds across, under or over said road or any part thereof
including lines for the conveyance of water and including
30 lines for telephone, telegraph and electric power, but so as
not to interfere with the reasonable use for public road
31 purposes.
321 Subject to all existing easements, reservations, rights
and rights of way of record;

and
WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept
said deed of right of way for such purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that said deed of right of way be
accepted and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to execute
and attach a certificate of acceptance and consent to the record-
ing of said deed of right of way in the County Recorder's office.
ADOPTED this 12th day of December, 1960.
