RESOLUTION NO. 5317
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A
CONVEYANCE OF AN.UNDERGROUND CONDUIT.SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the City has heretofore had an underground
conduit system constructed in Corona del Mar State and City Beach
Park for the purpose of serving the facilities in said park; and
WHEREAS, in order that the Southern California Edison
Company may serve electricity to said park and operate and main-
tain said conduit system, it is necessary to convey said system to
said company; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City to
said system and have it maintained by said company;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to execute a
ance transferring the following- described property, to wit:
That certain underground conduit system as now con- -
structed in Corona Del Mar State and City Beach Park, south-
westerly approximately 190 feet along prolongation of Iris
Avenue; thence westerly approximately 280 feet.
(a) Two pull boxes 2'k feet by 4 feet by 3 feet in size,
inside measurement, numbered 1267 and 1268.
(b) One transformer housing 3 feet by 4k feet by 3 feet
in -size, inside measurement, numbered 1269.
(c) Twenty feet of 3 inch H. D. G.
(d) Approximately 1167 feet of,3 inch transits conduit.
(e) Approximately 130 febt of 2 inch transite conduit.
(f) All wires, conductors and other equipment installed in
and appurtenant to said pull boxes, transformer housings and
conduits;
to Southern California Edison Company.
