2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH DEDICATING CERTAIN CITY PROPERTY
3 FOR STREET PURPOSES

5 WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach owns in fee certain
6 property hereinafter described; and
7 WHEREAS, said property lies within the extension of
8 Nineteenth Street westerly from Whittier Avenue; and
9 WHEREAS, it would be in the interests of the City of
10 Newport Beach and in the public interest to dedicate said property
11 for street purposes;
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City does hereby
13 dedicate for public street purposes the following described real
14 property in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of
15 California:

A strip of land 30.00 feet in width in that portion
of Lot "A" of the Banning Tract, as shown on a Nap
17
of said -Tract filed in the Case of Hancock Banning and
others vs. Nary H. Banning for partition and being
18
Case No. 6385 upon the Register of Actions of the
Superior Court of the State of California, in and for
19
the County of Los Angeles, the southerly line of said
strip is described,as follows:

Beginning at the intersection of the centerlines of
21
Whittier Avenue and Nineteenth Street as shown on
the Nap of Newport Mesa Tract, recorded in Book 5,
22
page 1 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the
County Recorder of Orange County, thence westerly
23
along the westerly prolongation of the centerline
of said Nineteenth Street a distance of 330.00 feet.

ADOPTED this 14th day of May, 1962.

of the City of Newport Beach filed and maintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No, 5589 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 14th day of May , 19 62 , by the following
