A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
A QUITCLAIM DEED
WHEREAS, the City has certain rights of way and easements
hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS,the City is not now using said rights of way and
i easements and has no present or prospective use for them; and
WHEREAS, it would be in the interest of the City and the
owners of the real property to quitclaim said rights of way and
easements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach that the Mayor and City Clerk be and are
hereby authorized and directed to execute a quitclaim deed releasi
all the City's present right, title and interest in the following -
described rights of way and easements, to wit:
PARCEL I: All that certain right of way for a water pipe
an
e,_as_ described in Deed from The Irvine Company and La
Habra Valley Land and Water Company, recorded November 19,
.1910, in Book..194, page, 177, of Deeds, records of Orange
County, California.
PARCEL II: All that certain right of way for a water pipe
nl edescribed in Deed from the Townsend Land Company
to Newport Beach 47ater_Company, recorded November 19, 1910,
in Book 194, page 179, of Deeds, records of Orange County,
California.
PARCEL III: All of the certain easement for sanitary sewer
pipe line-and water pipe line purposes as described in Deed
of Easement from Townsend Land Company to the City of New-
port Beach, a Municipal Corporation, recorded April 6,
1938,.in Book 934, page 199, of Official Records of Orange
County, California.
ADOPTED this 28th day of January, 1963.
