1 RESOLUTION NO. 5739
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRA CC FOR THE
3 REALIGNMENT OF CARNATION AVENUE AND BAYSIDE
DRIVE

5 WHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
6 consisting of the realignment of Carnation Avenue and Bayside Drive
7 in the City of Newport Beach, in accordance with the plans and
8 specifications heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 6th
9 day of February, 1963, and publicly opened and declared; and
10 WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
11 therefor is SULLY- HILLER CONTRACTING COMPANY;
12 NOWT, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of Sully -
13 Miller Contracting Company in the amount of $34,753.90 be accepted
14 and that the contract for the construction work be awarded to said
15 bidder.
16 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
17 hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
18 with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
19 of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
20 an executed copy to the successful bidder.
21 ADOPTED this 11th day of February, 1963.
