RESOLUTION NO. 5742
A RESOLUTION OF THE !CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A
CONTRACT FOR INSTALLATION OF UNDERGROUND PUBLIC
UTILITY FAZILITIES
WMEREAS, The Breakers Drive Association is having under -
ground public utility facilities constructed in Breakers Drive
between Iris Street and the easterly egad of Breakers Drive in the
City of Newport Beach, which facilities will be used to supply
electric power and telephone service to properties within the
area; and
WHEREAS, such underground public utility facilities will
also provide electric pourer for the operation of securer pumping
station No. 1D maintained by the City at the easterly end of
Breakers Drive; and
a contract has been prepared under which the
City would contribute the suo of Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000) as
its share of the construction cost of said facilities, including
the connection of sewer pumping station No. 16 thereto; and
W13EREA.S, the City Council has reviewed the terms of
said contract and found the same to be fair and equitable;
DiOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk are authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of
the !City of Newport Beach.
