111 RESOLUTION NO. 5745
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CON`IMACT FOR THE CON -.
3 STRUCTION OF TIC CARPORT STRUCTURE IN THE
NARINAPARK

5 WHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
6 consisting of the construction of the carport structure in the
7 P.arinapark in the City of Newport Beach, in accordance with the
8 plans and specifications heretofore adopted, bids were received on
9 the 20th day of February, 1963, and publicly opened and declared;
10 and
11 WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
12 therefor is Fred Beck Construction Co. ;
13 NOW, TFEREFOi% BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of
14 Fred Beck Construction Co. in the amount of $4,797.00
15 be accepted and that the contract for the construction work be
16 awarded to said bidder.
17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
18 hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
19 with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
20 of Newport Beac?n, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
21 an executed copy to the successful bidder.
22 ADOPTED this 25th day of February, 1963.
