RESOLUTION NO. S 7 1�f
RESOLUTION DECLARING RIVER AVENUE AND A CERTAIN
ALLEY TO BE A PUBLIC STREET AND RIGHT OF WAY
WHEREAS,. this Council has heretofore adopted its
Resolution of Intention No. 5693 for the improvement of River
Avenue and certain other rights of way; and
WHEREAS, the question has arisen as to the proper dedica-
tion of River Avenue between a point approximately 35 feet westerly
of Balboa Boulevard and Channel Place, and the first alley easterly
of Balboa Boulevard between River Avenue and Channel Placel and
WHEREAS, said River Avenue and said alley are owned by
the City of Newport Beach to the extent and to the dimensions as
shown on the.plans and profiles of said improvement referred to
in said Resolution No. 5693.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the said River Avenue and the aforesaid
alley, as referred to in said Resolution of Intention and as set
forth in the plans and specifications for said improvement, are
hereby declared to be respectively a public street and a public
alley in the said City of Newport Beach.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this //I/, day of March, 1963.
