A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE CON-
STRUCTION OF A STEEL BUILDING AT THE CITY DISPOSAL
SITE
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
consisting of the construction of a steel building at the City
disposal site in the City of Newport Beach, in accordance with the
plans and specifications heretofore adopted, bids were received on
the 22nd day of May, 1963, and publicly opened and declared; and
t , it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is Pascoe Steel Corporation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of Pascoe
Steel Corporation for Item No. 2 in the amount of $4,238 be accep
and that the contract for the construction work be awarded to said
bidder.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 27th day of May, 1963.
