RESOLUTION NO.
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
3 EXECUTION OF A REQUEST FOR RECONVEYANCE ON A
DEED OF TRUST

5 WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach is named as beneficiar
6 in a Deed of Trust dated January 14, 1960, and recorded in Boots
7 5089, page 511, of Official Records of Orange County, given to
8 secure a note dated January 14, 1960, in favor of the City of
9 Newport Beach in the amount of $226,300; and
10 WHEREAS, the indebtedness to the City evidenced by said
11 note has been paid in full;
12 NOG], THEREFORE, it is ordered and directed as follows:
13 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed
14 to execute the request for full reconveyance on the original of
15 said Deed of Trust.
16 2. The Director of Finance is authorized and directed t
17 record payment in full on said note dated January 14, 1960.
18 3. The City Cleric is authorized and directed to trans-
19 mit said Deed of Trust, note, and the policy of title insurance
20 issued by Title Insurance and Trust Company dated February 8, 1960,
21 under Policy No. 276042 to Orange County Title Company as agent for
22 Roy K. Sakioka and Tomio Sakioka echo, as tenants in common, are the
23 trustors under said Deed of Trust, the makers of said note, and the
24 vestee under said policy of title insurance.
25 ADOPTED this 27th day of May, 1963.
