RESOLUTION NO,
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
AGREEMENT EXTENDING AGREEMENT FOR MUNICIPAL
RADIO SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach and the County of
Orange in August, 1961, entered into an agreement relating to
municipal radio services, which was extended and renewed by a
subsequent agreement to June 30, 1963; and
WHEREAS, a new agreement has been presented to the City
extending and renewing the present agreement for an additional
period of one year, commencing July 1, 1963, and terminating June
30, 1964, upon the same terms and conditions in all respects as in
said agreement specified; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the terms of said
agreement and found them to be fair and equitable;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said agreement be
approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of Newport
Beach.
