M 2 A RESOLUTIONT OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY NEWPORT BEACH.FIXING THE SALARY
3 OF. THE _CITY MANAGER .

5 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
6 has the power and duty to establish the salary of the City Manager;
7 and
8 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5432 established the salary of
9 the City Manager beginning July 1, 1961;
10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that effective July 1,
11 1963, Resolution No. 5432 be rescinded and that the salary of the
12 City Manager beginning July 1, 1963, shall be $18,500 per fiscal
13 year, payable in monthly, semimonthly, or biweekly installments
14 as is most convenient in the ordinary course of the preparation
15 of the City's payroll.
