1 RESOLUTION NO.
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH FIXING THE SALARY
3 OF THE CITY ATTORNEY

5 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
6 has the power and duty to fix the salary of the City Attorney and
7 to designate the time to be devoted to the duties of the office in
8 the resolution fixing the compensation; and
9 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5433 established the salary of
10 the City Attorney beginning July 1, 1961, and the time to be
11 devoted to the duties of the office;
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that effective July 1,
13 1963, Resolution No. 5433 be rescinded and that the salary of the
14
City Attorney beginning July 1,
1963, shall
be $16,750 per fiscal
15
year for full -time employment, payable in monthly, semimonthly, or
16
biweekly installments as is most
convenient
in the ordinary course
17
of the preparation of the City's
payroll.
