A 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH.FIXING THE SALARY
3 OF. THE -CITY CLERK

51 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
6 1 has the power and duty to establish the salary of the City Clerk;
7 11 and
8 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5539 established the salary of
9 the City Clerk beginning January 1, 1962;
10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that effective July 1,
11 1963, Resolution No. 5539 be rescinded and that the salary of the
12 City Clerk beginning July 1, 1963, shall be $9,000 per fiscal year,
13 payable in monthly, semimonthly, or biweekly installments as is
14 most convenient in the ordinary course of the preparation of the
15 City's payroll. .per
