5 %T3EREAS, a Master Agreement for the Budgeting and Expend -
6 iture of funds Allocated from the State highway Fund to Cities has
7 been entered into by the ;ity of Newport Beach, hereinafter re-
8 ferred to as the city, and the State Department of Public Worths,
9 Division of flighwaA hereinafter referred to as the department;
10 and
11 aidEF1F.AS, the City Council has prepared a project state -
12 ment showing estimated expenditures of such funds recommene.ed to
13 be made during the 1963 -64 fiscal year; and
14 n �, S, the City Council has heard read said project
15 statement and is familiar with the contents thereof;
16 TlEtc%POEE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
17 City of Newport Beach that said project statement dated ,7uly 22,
18 1963, be and is hereby adopted as the budget of proposed expendi-
19 tures of the gas tax allocation to cities, said project statement
20 be and the same is hereby approved and the Public Works ;Director
21 is directed to sign the same on behalf of said City, and said
22 project statement to be submitted to the Department of Public Works,
23 State of California, in accordance with the provisions of Section
24 197 of the Streets and 13ighways Code.
