1 RESOLUTION NO. 5832
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
3 A- QUITCLAIM DEED

5 WHEREAS, records in the County Recorder's office indicate
6 that the Tax Collector of the City of Newport Beach on February 28,
7 1936, executed a deed to the City of Newport Beach conveying Lots 8
8 and 9 in Block 26 of Tract 772, in the City of Newport Beach, County
9 of Orange, State of California, as shown on a map recorded in Book
10 23, Pages 5 and 6, of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the County
11 Recorder of said County; and
12 WHEREAS, it appears that the delinquency has subsequently
13 been paid and the encumbrance not removed; and
14 WHEREAS, it appears that the City does not now have any
15 interest in said lots and it would be proper to execute a quitclaim
16 deed releasing the apparent interest;
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
18 City of Newport Beach that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
19 authorized and directed to execute a quitclaim deed releasing the
20 City's apparent interest in said lots to the owner or owners of
21 record.
