1 RESOLUTION NO.
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING THE MASTER LAND USE PLAN

4 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Newport
5I Beach has recommended amendments to the Master Land Use Plan of the
6 City of Newport Beach, as shown on a map entitled "Master Land Use
7 Plan, City of Newport Beach, California ", dated July 18, 1963; and
8 WHEREAS, the City Council, after notice as required by

law, has held a public hearing on said proposed amendments; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is
desirable to amend such Master Land Use Plan to reclassify the area
located between East Coast Highway 101 and Bayside Drive, bounded
on the east by Bayside Drive and on the west by Jamboree Road, into
areas of C -1 -H, C- O -H -UL, R- 3 -B -2, R- 4- B -2 -UL, and C -N Districts,
as shown on the map attached hereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach does adopt said amendments to the Master
Land Use Plan as shown on the map attached hereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
authorized and directed to sign said amended Master Land Use Plan
map to show that it has been adopted by the City Council, and that
the same be placed on file with the Master Plan of the City of
Newport Beach.
ADOPTED this 26th day of August, 1963.
