2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A
31 CONTRACT-WITH EDKER L..POPE

5 WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of
6 the City of Newport Beach a certain contract between the City of
7 Newport Beach and Edker L. Pope providing for the exchange of
8 certain property between 26th and 28th Streets and between Newport
9 and Balboa Boulevards and sharing the cost of the improvement of
10 28th Street and Balboa Boulevard in that vicinity; and
11 WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the terms and
12 conditions of said contract and found them to be reasonable and
13 consistent with the public interest;
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said contract be and
15 hereby is approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and
16 directed to execute the same on behalf of the City.
