RESOLUTION NO. 5857
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH FINDING AND DECLARING WHETHER A
MAJORITY.PROTEST HAS BEEN MADE BY THE PROPERTY
OWNERS AT THE HEARING -ON THE.ANNEXA.TION OF THE
TERRITORY KNOWN AS- "ANNEXATION NO. 52"
WHEREAS, proceedings have been initiated to annex to the
City certain territory designated as "Annexation No. 52/9; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 5818
describing the boundaries thereof, designating the territory by a
name, and setting Tuesday, the 10th day of September, 1963, at the
City Council Chamber, City Hall, 3300 Newport Boulevard, Newport
Beach, California, as the time and place for the City Council to
hear written protests against the annexation by persons owning
real property within said territory; and
WHEREAS, said resolution was published, posted, and dis-
tributed as required by law and said hearing was held in accordance
with the notice thereof and finally adjourned on September 10, 1963,
and the City Council heard and passed upon all protests so made;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
hereby finds and declares that a majority protest was not made
against the annexation to the City of Newport Beach of the terri-
tory designated as 99Annexation No. 52".
ADOPTED this 10th day of September, 1963.
