RESOLUTION NO. 5858
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
CERTAIN RELEASES
WHEREAS, Donald Picker in the employ of the City was
injured in the course of his employment on May 25, 1963; and
WHEREAS, the total loss to the City, including certain
property damage, was $566.08; and
WHEREAS, Michael A. Dion has been employed by the City
to effect a recovery of that amount upon payment to him of 157.
thereof; and
WHEREAS, certain release forms have been transmitted
to the City upon execution of which'by the parties, approval by
the Industrial Accident Commission, and submission'to the insur-
ance carrier for the other party involved in the subject accident,
the City will receive payment of its claim;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be and hereby are authorized and directed to execute said
release forms on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
