1 RESOLUTION NO. 5859
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
3 AN AGREEMENT WITH THE COMMUNITY YOUTH CENTER.
4 OF NEWPORT HARBOR
5 WHEREAS, the Community Youth Center in Coronacdel Mar
6 has been operated pursuant to a contract between the City of
7 Newport Beach and the Community Youth Center of Newport Harbor;
8 and
9 WHEREAS, it is to the mutual advantage of the parties
10 and to the public to continue the operation of the Youth Center
11 substantially in accordance with the terms of the agreement now in
12 existence; and
13 WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared and approved by
14 the Board of Directors of the Community Youth Center and the Board
15 of the Newport Beach School District and is satisfactory to the
16 City;
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the agreement is
18 hereby approved and the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby
19 authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of the City.
20 ADOPTED this 10th day of September,�J 1963.
